i'm confirmed. going sunday, for sure, as my kid's soccer game is Sat. PLEASE tell me it's the "normal" day and that Enduro is Sat. but i bet it's not..

i tried to look but fresnoscca.com is down.

I'm not entirely sure, but typically we run the enduro on the last day. It's suppose to have a chance of rain, so it'll be good for your setup.

Last I checked, 50% chance of rain. I don't want to do enduro. Sucks.

The idea of plopping down all that money and having my day over in six minutes doesn't appeal to me. At least on normal days, there is staging. That makes the days seem a bit more like I'm getting my money's worth.
I like the idea of finding a rhythm by doing consecutive laps...but still...

I guess I look at differently. Even though I drove a long ways last weekend to Marina for 4 runs, I still see it as time well spent to understand the car and the setup. Definitely understand those who see it as a big waste of money. It's almost one of those things, if try your either hooked or not. I always go out there with intentions of improving and learning. Beating exotics are just bonuses.

i'd probably feel the same in a prepped car. but i'm taking my daily. so.. it's a lot of money, per minute, for some fun. if not for LS coming up, no way would i waste my time. don't get me wrong: it's fun. but not for the cost (for me).
if you are a points chaser, in prepped car, or had some other reason for doing it, i could see the value. in my case it's not. still! i will be there. and since there isn't very many local events, i'll be hitting up every one i can. it's not like i spend that kinda money every week, you know?
hell.. i know people that spend more than that in a night of drinking. and they do it EVERY week. so.. in comparison to alcoholism.... auto-x is quite cheap. LOL
