My super sweet jetta

Just picked up this lil jem, smogged and working AC.
Gets me to work and back (hanford to fresno) 5 days a week.
Better mpg's than my 350z. so the zed stays parked now.

Super tall!

I can run over a basketball w/o touching it!
Even has a pimp ass pin stripe down the side.

204k miles and thats where the cluster broke about 3 years ago.
So I want to say 250k on it now.
35.7mpg right now w/o a tun up. so not too bad.

Did some work.

Trim blacked the bumpers, fender flairs, and door moldings
slapped a grill on it
mk2 gti 16v lower spoiler on it (front valence spoiler)

This one, probably just a few little things:

Wheels (bbs rm or some enkies)
Coilovers
grille spoiler
tint
and probably a gli recaro interior swap

cheap stuff that will help make it look a lil better.

Just moved into a different house and a different job so between having to buy crap for this house and tools for my job, im too poor right now hahaha

Although I already did put corrado brakes on it and poly control arm bushings
11" up front vs 10.1"
and disc brake upgrade in rear (vs drum)

Super clean.

Put my coilovers and wheels on.
swooped up some old school enkies for dirt cheap w/ what was supposed to be good tires. Turns out they have flat spots. So will have to remove these wheels, and run some spare steel wheels I have, already ordered some 195/45-15's so hopfully those get here fast!

What are your feelings on color matching the centers of these enkies? too much?

i vote no on the color matching. only if the car were black.

I probably will paint the inner part of the wheels black, as I am going to smoke my turns/side markers and tint the whole car...

Trim Blacked all the bumpers/trim as they were heavily oxidized.

Car is basically just sticking like this for awhile until I get my truck on the street.
But in the very near future a Respray and VR6 motor swap is up in the line up. As the motor is already lined up, just need some cooler weather to roll around
