My Mk1 Jetta Empty
PostSubject: My Mk1 Jetta    My Mk1 Jetta EmptySun May 06, 2012 9:56 pm

I've been slowly building this car up, with the intention of having a fun AutoX/Track car.

It began life as a 82' Jetta Coupe Diesel , now with a Corrado G60 swap (1.8L 8v crap scroll style supercharger)

Neuspeed 25mm rear sway bar
Neussped Front sway bar with lower brace (control arm brace)
Front and Rear Strut Tower braces
AutoPower bolt in cage for some more bracing
Poly everything suspension bushing wise.
68mm Supercharger Pulley
Techtonics 268 cam
440cc Bosch Green Tops
Walbro 255lph
SNS (uk company) stage 5 chip tune

Full Disc Brake conversion from a Scirocco

Top Mount intercooler w/ z31 scoop

Looking to do water/meth soon or awic as it's not very efficient, gets heat soaked fast.

Car has a long ways to go, but runs extremely well and handles pretty good too.
Plans in the future include some new paint (Aviator Grey from an Audi T), and I need to do a new clutch as the stock one can't handle the torque the g60 puts out

Car currenly sits on some 15" BBS RM wheels but have a set of 15x7 Kosei K1's I plan on putting on it while I rebuild those

Thanks guys! Been a slow build as I have a 91' Jetta coupe im doing a vr6 swap in as well, so $ going between the two sucks

BTW if any one has a cheap methanol kit for sale let me know!! When I sold my VR6 Turbo jetta awhile back I left my kit I bought from Kaj (jason) on it but still have 10 gallons of methanol laying around lol
