This one is only a weak 1.8l 8v (maybe 80hp), but the vr swap will be coming pretty soon.
A stock 12v VR6 puts out around 188bhp (the motors you see in any mk2 swap, or mk3's, corrados, passats, etc )and a stock 24v VR6 (typically in 2003+ models) are 201bhp. Underpowered by far,but really which VW's arent. The long blocks can handle 500hp w/o any issues as they are a cast iron block.. A matter of fact a friend made 567hp on his mk2 vr6 turbo w/ a CHIP tune while still using the the OEM MAF.
