06 636 here, how often do you go riding?

awesome bike dude. i ride every other day here and there. but me and my friends hit the hills once or twice every two weeks. we usually roll out in groups of 4 or more. got any pics of your bike?

That's a nice bike you have, I was debating on selling mine and getting an 06+ R6, but I just love the ninja too much.

both are great bikes for that year. alot of us feel the R6 is more nimble and better at cornering but the 636 is more comfortable has better midrange power.

you riding with anybody right now?

A few of the 636 owners I know have ran against 06+ R6 and were pretty much able to outpower it in every powerband, including high end
But the flickability of the R6 is amazing from what I've heard.

If you ever track the 636 you can't run with the 600's last I checked. Always loved the 636, just a weird bike to class. I had a 99 r6 back in 08 and it had the d&d slip on. I cant remember the sprocket's teeth but i had changed them down 1 in the front up 2 in the rear i believe.

636 can ride with any other bikes for trackdays I believe. If you're talking specific racing classes then I think you'd have to stick with the zx6rr.

As you can guess... I'm looking for another CBR Probably a 05-06 600rr , though I do have my eye set on an 08' 1000RR as of the moment

I'll post pictures of what I got to ride today. My buddy came up. I was talking about actully competing with the bike. 636 gets put in a class with the big boys.

They get placed with the 848's, 675's, and the gixxer 750's right?
an oddball class.

However I believe it's only for AMA. In WERA or CSS they're still placed in the 600cc class, leaving them with the better advantage in terms of cc.

Was a nice ride. Took it around the block and never really felt the need to even open it up. 06 with 56xx for 4 grand.
