Rear diffuser Gbd1012

has anyone ever used one of these and had a noticeable difference. obviously im asking in regards to aggressive driving, as in road racing or drag racing. I dont want to hear about how you noticed a difference when you raced CD on blackstone.

thanks.

great for drag cars that go really fast. it keeps you from experiencing the "parachute effects" at the big end of the track. also easier and cheaper than a real diffuser, though it looks like ass.

as for a car that's on a road course? i suppose it could help, but not completely sure.

yea i figured that, but as in really fast, are we talking about 12 second cars, or more of 10-9 second cars?

i'd say depends more on trap speed. the faster you trap, the more you would need it. i used to trap 116 and thought about how beneficial one of these would be. not worth the looks, but i have to imagine i coulda picked up a mph or two.

yea, im trying to debate whether or not i want to use one, but im not too big on cutting up my back bumper. I also wont be hardcore racing my car. i was just wondering if any of our 392 members had any first hand knowledge of them.

I like em but i dont trap 80+ lol. Had em on my integra. Rather say a diffuser tray is best for road racing etc

not worth it, IMO, unless you are racing for points or money. i don't know that you would be excited to run a bit faster and have to look at that thing. LOL.

or.. buy a cheap rear bumper cover and cut holes in it. or.. you can rivet a piece of sheet metal underneath. maybe, as mentioned above, get a diffuser. but those are pretty pricey.
