| As some of you may know, I'm currently living in Korea and occasionally I would see a few nice cars here and there. However due to me not being fluent in Korean, I'm not able to ask for the owner and see if he'll allow me to snap some pictures of the car. Would you consider it rude for someone to just take some pictures of your car without asking you for permission? | |

| Yeah I think its kinda rude. You don't know what they're going to do with the photo. If I had a photo of Ricky, you don't want to know what I would do ;] | |

| I think it's personal preference thing. To me i don't really care as long as they don't steal my car than that's all that matter. | |

| It's borderline for me. Let's say you take your car to a car show. You don't give them permission to take pics of your car nor do they ask but people always take pictures of other peoples cars at car shows. But if it's just parked at school or work, then I would sort of be bothered if someone were to take a pic. But then I would just be a hypocrite cause I didn't care when I took it to a car show. | |

| I remember there was time when a company put one of our member here "STI_Clint" Subaru as a representative of their hood. I think the hood he had on was the one they were selling, so they use a picture of car without his permission. | |

Lol I was just about to post this Yea I was pretty pissed about it because well I hate to be a poster child for some cheap Ebay company lol. After that episode I prefer to be asked if taking pics of my car but I'm not going to make a big deal out of it if you do. At a car show you have no choice just let them snap away lol but if it were to be used as an advertisement it's only good business if you let the person know that you are using your car to sell their product. If I wasn't present a business card with something jotted down on the back would have been perfect as well. | |

| Some guy in a beat up honda civic snapped a picture of my car a few weeks ago on the freeway :-/. He honked and when I looked over, he snapped a picture. I usually don't like it when people take pictures of my car. It's just a loud subaru, there's nothing to look at besides the rims lol. | |

| people randomly take pics of my civic too.....
I guess these are my personal preferences:
Meets/Shows: Yes (you go to show your car off anyway) Public Area: whatever...I would prefer they ask...but as long as they are not trying to get in it or take it...im cool with it. Parked in my driveway or someones house : ask me first.
My buddy Sean has an auto-blog and he constantly posts photos of random cars he see's parked in Japan....
