| With a budget of 10,000. Then there's also another 10,000 to use on mods.
GO!
This thread will determine which car I might want to get.

S2000 G35 Etc etc The S2000 seems like a good choice. But I'd probably get lynched if I only drove that car to work and school and never autox'd it

This is a great option but I'd keep that extra 10k on hand for engine repairs. . . .

An Evo8 with an fp red with supporting mods and some nice suspension would be something dope. - STI_Clint wrote:

| All these suggestions are agreeable, but I see no decent cars at $10k or less. You may find a high mileage S2000? For sure no Evo, Type R, or FD unless you either get a beater or very lucky. I hate to say it, but there is a reason Subarus are getting popular. You can find a bug eye for a very reasonable cost. Your modification budget is enough to basically turn it into an Sti. If I had $20k and didn't want a car payment, I'd do an '06 Evo, hands down, for all the reasons mentioned above. Solid cars, respond to mods like crazy, and fun as hell even when stock. I personally wouldn't mind the $100/mo payment, I'd put that $20k down on an FRS. | |

Plus think about the gas mileage! A guy I spoke to says he's getting 30-35 mpg with his FRS. Amazing for a boxer engine.

The remaining 10,000 will go into the difference of the other 10,000 for the car. The rest will be used on mods.
