Subject: Impreza Fuel Door Clip - help Tue Apr 10, 2012 1:35 pm
my fuel door broke, so the stealership got me a version 2 fuel door since they dont make mine anymore. now the clip comes in and i have NO idea how to stick it in, need photo reference if anyone has any. thanks guys.

looks like the metal clip sets in the plastic piece so that the black part of the metal tab snaps in and out of the opening. then the plastic piece slides onto the metal tab of the door. if you sit with it for a few minutes, i'm sure you will figure it out. it can only go one way. YOU CAN DO IIIIIIIIIIT!
what year is your car? i have a shop manual and can look it up
or you can google. i found this in (according to Google) .25 sec.

Thnx ima keep trying after class. From what I understand though, the guy from dealer says to disregard the old black clip completely?? Mine is a 95 coupe, but I think this clip and door is from a 97+ yr?
