| When I first bought it..it came with gsr blades, not the slips..first thing I did to the car was swap out the rims...camera fone FTW [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then got some Spun supermesh...and rock them for a while.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After few months of owning it, I decided to do the ITR frontend conversion.. frontend taken off [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]from the passenger's side view [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]from the driver's side view [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]after some dremeling and weld, the frontend went on [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]from the passenger's side view [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]from the driver's side view [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Front bondo and primered [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Frontend painted and done [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Update 3-14-12: Got into my first car accident....I rear ended a professor from school. Car was on neutral, cruising very slowly at less than 5mph. I was rubbernecking, and next thing I notice, BOOM I tapped the back bumper of the car in front of me.. Here's some cellphone pic: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and the professor's car got some scratch that can be buffed off.... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here's what I started off with: Frontend was so fragile because the first time I convert it, I only dremel the top piece of the ITR radiator support and weld it onto the usdm radiator support...BIG no no..learned my lesson. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]First step: (redoing the frontend the correct way)
Drilling out the Radiator Support: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Finally got it the spots weld off [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The pieces that needed to be taken off: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Started taking the car aparts... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Welded the radiator support onto the frame: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]:dance:Whew...one long day and a night!!! 28hrs! and finally done with the hard part! Wouldve been done earlier but got into trouble looking for tools at 2am in the morning. lol Time to go catch up on my sleep. lol
time to start looking for a hood now..also, i apologize for the ugly iphone pictures...didnt have my camera with me at the time..only my phone. lol hope it's good enough Onto UPDATE 3/19/12: Pick up another front end and replace the Bumper Support, Hood, and Bumper. Reason for new Bumper: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Reinstalling the Bumper Support, Bumper, and Hood: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]update 3-25-12: Pick up oem ITR front lip. Test-fit it on and it looks perfect! Now its time for some paint! Here's a picture  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Car is currently at the shop getting repainted. | |
